MicroSkirt is modular/mobile home skirting insulation. MicroSkirt uses the properties of MicroFoil to keep heat from building up in the modular/mobile home during the summer by using reflectivity. A pair of scissors or utility knife is the only tool necessary for installation.

MicroSkirt Reflective insulation is designed specifically for use behind mobile home skirting. When installed correctly, MicroSkirt provides an excellent thermal and vapor barrier, greatly reducing condensation buildup. MicroSkirt effectively reflects a heat source as opposed to absorbing and dissipating it as fiber glass insulations must do. This reflectivity works both ways: radiating summer heat outward and retaining winter heat inside. With our patented self-taping foil flange running along one edge, installation is fast and easy.

Simply remove the release paper to expose the adhesive and press the foil flange directly to the base of the mobile home. The lower edge of the insulation should be tucked into the lower skirting channel. Install the skirting in front of the insulation and you are done. MicroSkirt requires only a pair of scissors or a utility knife for easy installation. Masks and long clothing are not required as MicroSkirt does not contain hazardous chemicals or harmful materials that cause itching or respiratory problems.
